Chubb promote a select range of fire-tested safes, in a choice of sizes, fire and insurance ratings, that can protect a number of different mediums (including digital, film and paper records) for up to 2 hours.
All ChubbSafes fire safes and cabinets are independently reviewed and tested by approved testing laboratories and on passing are certified to the appropriate fire rating.

An indicator of the level of security a safe provides is classified by a monetary value that insurers will cover in the event of theft. The higher the rating, the more protection a safe offers.
Cash Cover (often referred as cash rating)
The maximum monetary value covered in the event of theft.
Valuables Cover (jewellery)
Equals 10 times the cash rating, .i.e. a 4k cash cover = £40,000 of valuables.
European Grading (Security ratings)
A ‘safe testing’ scheme (Euro Grade) was devised by the insurance industry for rating/cover
